The Sigdal House, located in the Scandinavian Heritage Park, is a 230-year-old house originally from Sigdal, Norway. It is typical of houses common to rural Norway during the 1800s. The house was purchased by the Scandinavian Heritage Association and restored to museum standards. The house had been dismantled in Norway, shipped to and reassembled on site at the park. The completed house was dedicated on October 15, 1991 during the annual Norsk Høstfest. |
