has gloss	eng: Hannah Greenebaum Solomon (born January 14, 1858, Chicago, Illinois, U.S. died December 7, 1942, Chicago) was the celebrated founder of the National Council of Jewish Women, the first national association of Jewish women and also an important force for reform in Chicago around the turn of the twentieth century. A superb organizer, Solomon emphasized unity, and orchestrated agreements among Jewish, gentile, and government groups on local, national, and international levels.
