has gloss	eng: The building which now houses the Dancehouse Theatre in Manchester was originally designed by Pendleton and Dickson for property developer Emannuel Nove, as two large meeting halls over a parade of shops. Before the halls were completed inside, they were converted into two cinemas (The Regal Twins) with fashionable 1930 Art Deco interiors. These were converted in the 1960s to a five screen complex before closing in the 1980s.
