During 2003, the company earned $3.5 billion (Canadian dollars) in freight revenue. Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd is a public company with 15,000 employees and 6.5 billion USD market capitalization. In October 2008, Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd was named one of "Canadas Top 100 Employers" by Mediacorp Canada Inc., and was featured in Macleans newsmagazine.
