has glosseng: The Louis C. Clark Sanctuary is located on Valentine's Rd., in Old Brookville in Nassau County Long island. It was donated by Louis Crawford Clark and Frances Stokes Weeks. Little is known about the Sanctuary. It used to be a former farm and a variety or plant life can be observed there. It is about 8 acres and most of this is a think mud or marsh lands. There is no designated trail except for a few signs near the entrance. The Sanctuary is full of thick mud which is near impossible to navigate through, a swamp, and a stream. It is maintained by The Nature Conservancy. This Sanctuary is connected to the James Preserve, also located in Old Brookville, Long island.
